College Skatepark is a 4.6 acre park located in central Lompoc off of West College Avenue adjacent to Lompoc High School. This park features a 10,000 sq. ft. skate park facility which opened in 2000. The skatepark is surrounded by mature shade trees and open semi-grassy areas. Never very crowded at the park. Full gear is required, but the skateboarders seldom wear it. When the police come, everyone leaves for a little a while and the people with gear have the place to themselves. The park is usually full of trash and the bathroom is disgusting. However, you can usually find one at the high school or the YMCA next door. Nothing spectacular-just your basic skatepark.
