Situated halfway between Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo, Penelope’s Teas & gifts is located in Old Town Lompoc. We are an American tearoom with a decidedly British influence. Furnished with antiques, the tearoom is decorated in a comfortable non-fussy Victorian manner. There are varieties of seating styles, from formal dining tables and white wicker to relaxed, large leather chairs. We offer seating areas for 2-4 people and larger tables for groups.
Our gift shop carries a wide assortment of tea-related items and fine bone china, as well as over 70 kinds of loose tea.
Come try our popular Elegant Afternoon Tea which includes a starter course; tea sandwiches; a warm scone with lemon curd, clotted cream, and jam; and a delightful dessert selection.
During the lunch hours we also serve a variety of English specialities such as Cottage Pies, Pasties, Sausage Rolls, Ploughman’s plates, and Coronation Chicken.
We make our food fresh in our tiny kitchen and are proud to offer local produce whenever possible.
